fantastic skiing, apres ski and brand new lifts
some times queues for lifts can terrible
hi guys, let me tell you ive being in a few places skiing in austria france and switzerland went to kitzbuell last year which was cool place but bit expensive but im goin back to my old favourite st anton again.I absoloutely think the place is one of the top ski resorts in europe. The new gondolas new heated chairlifts and a very well organised staff keep this place running like a dream. As for the pistes its prob not really for beginners but we have had some on our trips over the years and the main thing is dont rush it ! if your up the mountain on day 4 your doin great. there is a good ski school in st anton ,pick the ones with the blue jackets think they more personalised. Another good thing about st anton if the weather is good you can get the big cable car across to valluga and you can spend the rest of the day skiing the whole way down to the bottom, but remember to pull up in the Krazy Kangaroo bar for beers and see the tabletop dancing complete with ski boots then of course the challenge is to ski down the rest of the journey in the DARK.All in all if your looking for a good holiday plenty of snow good apre ski and whatever nightlife you think your fit for then this is your place.
