One of the best areas I have been to. The area is huge you have a big choice of different lifts, slopes and freeride opportunities. For freeriding go under the 150er Tux very steep long powder runs. The penken funpark is very famous in Tirol. Good kickers, rails and obstacles for beginners and experts. You will find every different kind of slopes even the steepest prepared slope of Austria is there. The slopes are long and wide and most of them are on the sunny side. There are many beautiful huts where you get very good original food. You also have a lot of après ski possibilities. Many in the skiing areas and the other ones in the villages where you will also find discos, bars and restaurants. The Hintertuxer glacier is very near so you can even ski in summer. One negative point could be that the area is a little bit crowded at the main season but usually you are not waiting longer than five minutes to get up because the lifts are very modern and quickly.
