Five villages beneath the tux glacier make up Tux. The largest is Lanersbach where most facilities are located. Juns is home to the old tux mill from 1839 it is about two kilometres from the glacier lifts and linked by a free bus service. There are a couple of local lifts in the village but the huge year-round ski area of Mayrhofen - Tux is a very short trip away.
