Ideal For Mismatched Couples Innsbruck, charming capital of Austria's Tyrol, is the ideal choice for couples whose tastes are not in sync. The skier who hungers for 20,000 feet of vertical can bus out to one of many prominent ski areas among 25 holiday villages. The companion more interested in culture is free to visit a palace, cathedral, or museum. For a change of pace---dozens of boutiques. After dark the couple can reunite and stroll through the Old City and imagine themselves on the same cobblestones five centuries ago. Across from the Golden Roof landmark they can saunter into Hotel Goldener Adler, where princes, poets and presidents have stayed. The Austrian specialties in the dining room will play second fiddle to the sense of history.
