Overall Gerlos and linking mountains plus a glacier, give lots of off piste, groomed slopes to suit challenge everybody. There is an excellent training slope for beginners, This was our third year and we still are discovering more runs, falling off ski lifts and finding off piste opportunities.
I am between blue and red runs as a snowboarder, My husband is black runs, off piste material and he is still finding his way around the mountains.
The village is traditionally, with winter wonderland paths along the river make it magical to walk your dog.
Love the village, Love the fact that there is little english spoken, trying different meals was fun as you never knew what you were eating .
The elderly male cashier in Spar has a huge smile on his face and is friendly year from year. The younger cashier was equally as friendly.
The ski bus drivers are friendly and one came to our rescue when we got stranded on one mountain. He phoned the other bus company, got the mobile number of the driver of the bus we missed and told him to wait for us at another pick up point and then drove us there ( which was out of his way)
So in a nutshell, Two adults, one golden retriever will go back for a fourth year in 2010 and still find challenging runs, offpiste and a wonderful holiday
