a lot of different ski routes with modern ropeways. thanks to global warming the snow is getting less and less often even if the altitude is quite high but there's always the artificial one.
altitude, variety and modern ropeways
too many people, not always good snow

Had a fabulous family holiday, Christmas 2022. Amazing snow. Friendly people. Delicious food. Not expensive to eat & drink. Hotel Adamello was brilliant.
Great skiing Christmas 2022, would definitely go again

Overall much better than French resorts and as good as Austrian resorts.
You can walk to the slopes. There town is at 1800m and is one road running along the bottom of most of the runs. Best snow I've seen for the first week of February.
As with most resorts, the food in the mountain resturants is very poor. The snow park is very small and disappointing.

still the best place for begginers and families with small children.
good snow, excellent for beginners, cheap, varied terrain.
not too much apres ski, very small and dull town to walk around in.

Went on a new years holiday here with the family, the hotel was fit for royalty as most are, and the food was phenomenal, however the ski area is limited in size and not very difficult for anything higher than intermediates. That being said it was still a great time and the snow was impeccable.
Excellent for beginners and none skiers, hotels are prestigious and accommodating, ski schools are friendly and dynamic, plenty of snow all year.
Poor for advanced and experts, not many English themed bars/restaurants for sports.
This a brilliant Ski area, there is a massive amount of Runs, especially for Beginner + and Intermediate, but only has a few Black, one a ++, down from the Presena Glacier. It gets very busy at the weekend because it is very accessible from the North of Italy. But during the week only the Holiday makers. You can take the Bus into the inner Dolomites, up to Madonna de Campligo. about 30 minutes away. By Stephen.
Excellant Skiing
Gets Very Busy

It's difficult to believe that anyone who has made this the No.1 resort in Trento (at the time of writing) has skiied anywhere else in the area. I've skiied lots of areas in Trento, and the Sud Tyrol, and this is by far the most boring ski area. Ok, it's probably good for beginners but anyone with more than week under their belt is going to be dullified by day 2. Yes, it has a glacier, but it takes an age to get to the top of it and once you're there you wonder why you bothered. Apres is ok, but Tonale has a purpose built look about it and has to be one of the ugliest resorts you could ever end up in. Trentino does have some great skiing, but it's either in Madonna or over in the Dolomites. Go to one of them instead.
It has a WW1 war memorial
You can't look at a war memorial for a week
It was great, last week of the season the snow was fantastic. 4 yr old and 7 yr old first time skiers had a magic time in ski school, they are great there. they love eveyone. Experienced skier husband had a fab time on the glacier side that lasts til july ish apparantley. well recommended as a starting resort. i dont know about nightlife, we were all to knackered to see it. our hotel was fab, basic but great food and fab staff, hotel dolomiti is highly recommended for all.
Excellent Resort for families wanting a long relaxing break away from the busy life of the city. Took my 5 year old son and 9year old daughter for their 7th time skiing and there was enough to keep them amused. Maybe not enough apres ski for me and my partner. But overall a thoroughly enjoyable time was had by everyone.
Great resort! This was my 1st time snowboarding and found the english speaking instrucors brilliant. I had 3x1hr sessions and was more than enough to send me on my way. Some nice short blue runs to get into it then some lovely longer runs (blue and red) to test your skills. There were also some harder ones which i avoided too so would say this resort accompanies everyone! Went as a family and seemed to keep all of us happy at all times both on and off the slopes. Ski to and from the hotel too which equals less hassle to get up and get staight on the slopes. Greta time - go there!!!
