Went on the weekend of dec 20-21: Saturday was crusty and icy at times but not that busy so it was a good trade off--you could easily avoid the bad patches. Sunday dec 21 was pretty terrible though, it was above 0 and the snow was pretty much gone at the bottom of the runs. Do not go unless it snows more.
Went Saturday night and had an awesome time. People from @Bucktheads Clothing were ripping it on the mountain and giving out stickers to slap on your skis and boards. Cool little hook up and defiantly made my board look much better :p. Other then that conditions were great foriding and that what we doin.
Great 50th Anniversary conditions, all the main runs open with fab coverage. No one manages a family owned ski resort like the Huter family. So many people but no lift lines. St. Louis Moonstone NEVER disappoints! Congrats on your 50th!
Went on Fri, dec 19 for night boarding. Pretty damn good conditions based on the fact that weather has been warm lately. Conditions much better than expected. A few icy spots. However, only a handful of runs open (difficult to get to the south side - Dr. Doug).
Packed powder.. Nice conditions no wait at the lifts... Just a little touch of ice here and there on narrow trails and right side of Yodeler.. Otherwise really fun! Glad to be here can't wait for the rest to open up
