Great family oriented resort with numerous family attraction in the area. Many different type of lodging available in the area. The resort is small and over crowded on weekends. Inexperienced skiers and boarders on the slopes make it difficult to really enjoy yourself without having to look out for out of control people. The snow can be patchy, thin, and icy at times; so 100% of the slopes are open only for a small portion of the season. Gatlingburg is a great town with great family fun.
