it is just about the best sking anywhere in the world. The off piste is fantastic and easy to access. I would advise to have an intructor, the suisse ski school are worth every penny, they find you the best snow all day everyday, many of these instructors were born there, so their knowledge is far superior to other ski schools.
The hotels, shops and bars are full of friendly and helpful staff.
it is very easy to get there by public transport, the train leaves the airport and goes to Martiney, then you can get the train and bubble right into own, this takes about 2hours 30 mins and cost around £75 return.
i find this resort vertualy faultless, anyone who says differently, is either stupid, can't or won't learn to ski. or both.
