Some powder in the trees and high up but mostly already run out from yesterday. Most runs are soft groomers...thought there would be more powder. Still a beautiful day!

Powder everywhere. 16 inches since Monday. Peak 6 and 10 are both really good right now. Best skiing of the year!

Great day at Breck today...

After an amazing day at Breck yesterday, figured I'd check out Keystone to see if the recent storms had patched up their thus-far abysmal conditions this season. Contrary to other posters, I was not impressed today. I realize the pow day was yesterday, but the base is still weak. Rocks and tree stumps everywhere on all the bump runs coming off of Starfire. I messed up an edge pretty bad on Bullet. Groomers are still very icy, with glacier-like sheets showing through. My advice - go to Breck and avoid Keystone altogether until they get some serious dumping.
