A Basin is a great spot for a quick change in scenery. More than a couple days a season will begin to be monotonous and bland. Tiny compared to the Mega-resorts in the surrounding area, A Basin still provides enough variety in terrain to keep any level skier preoccupied for several visits. Any intermediate or expert skier will definitely love the Montezuma Bowl. The bowl provides a lot of great tree runs and a stunning view of Breck in the distance. Terrain Parks are pretty cookie cutter like, nothing much to say. All in all, stop by if you want to save a couple bucks and experience something new. And with the season stretching all the way into June, there is plenty of time to hit it.
