Stubaital: Neustift And A Glacier -
The Stubaital is a 40 km-long alpine valley in the Austrian state of Tyrol. The Ruetz river flows through the valley.
There are 41 pistes in Neustift. The Stubai Glacier offers variety of slopes, more than 110 km of slopes, served by 24 modern lifts. You can ski on the glacier from October through May. The six-day glacier ski pass is a good deal.

This skiing region is a total distance of approximately 55-85 km with Neustift Village at the center point. Fulpmes, Telfes and Neustift in the Stubai Valley retain the old Tirolean village atmosphere. Neustift offers access to year-round skiing on Stubai Glacier.
Here's a little tidbit apropos of nothing: The cinema in Fulpmes still uses the oldest film projector in Austria.
Public transportation from Innsbruck into the valley is available via the free Stubai bus route or the Stubaitalbahn.
