Stowe did a fantastic job grooming this past weekend. Hard to tell that it rained early in the week and warm temps. It was worth the weekend trip.

As terrible as this season has been the conditions have been pretty decent. The snow makers and groomers deserve a gold star. They are the real heroes this year.

Friday was good. There was a good amount of trails open but still a lot of closed trails. The top of the gondola had a lot of snow blowing and you couldn't see 10 ft in front of you, but most of the trails didn't have snowmaking. They said that Saturday would have a lot more trails

Decent conditions. Lots of trails open. Skied off in the afternoon. Tons of people, but lines moved pretty well.

Some really nice pockets of powder in the glades, though base is still a bit thin and rocks peek through in spots. Still, front four had some nice cover and though Starr was closed, ducking the rope got you some nice soft moguls with minimal ice. I recommend Goat + Bypass woods.
