Cerler is a very nice place to go in Spain. I learned there when I was a child and I go there everytime I can, but no as frecuantly as I would like.
The snow in Cerler is quite good but the best is the backcountry, you can climb the Aneto peak, the highest in the Spanish Pirenees, and enjoy the best mountain in Spain.
If you are also looking for having a good time at night I can tell you that Benasque is the best place in the Pirenees (not only in Spanish', also in French's) to go out in the night.
But if you are going to go with your family you will find a lot of things to do with your children.
I think it's a recommendable place to visit.
