I can't believe how awesome they are holding out. Best run is probably Upper and Lower Standard! My friend and I attempted to a glades trail since this was our last time going skiing and since we rent skis we did a glades trail. It wasn't bad until we saw a stream, Kudos to Strat.

Wednesday March 23, Temperatures have risen into the 50s. Trails conditions are soft & wet. If the temperatures don't drop Below freezing it's not worth going. I'm hanging up my skis for the season. It's not worth the time and money for the conditions.

I was there March 22. They made snow over the weekend and the temps stayed cold so refreshed trails were really good. Best run was Cascade -Canyon where they made the most snow it seems. It was worth the 3.5 hour drive from NJ.

Trail conditions vary by trail, temps and time of day, so what I say can easily change by tomorrow. Today was mostly below freezing, but it did melt a little on the main face where the sun was shining. The slopes generally are corn in top of ice at the top, firm corn for the middle 1/3, and a deep softer corn on the bottom 1/3. Take heed of their conditions report, you should be at least an intermediate rider if you take a lift to the top. Coverage is generally pretty good on the bottom 2/3 of trails, and the top 1/3 is where most of the obsticales are. In the afternoon watch for smaller unmarked obsticales lower on the trails over the hips as people push the snow around. It would be a ton better if they had topped off the upper 1/3 of the mountain with some snow in the last 2 weeks, and given the predicted cool spell for the first 10-15 days of April, they could have pulled another couple of weeks if they had done that. As things stand now, they are losing trails daily to bad coverage at the tops and as they obviously have started winding things down. Tuckered Out and Jolly Green Giant were in great shape for most of the day, and Chief was pretty good for the few hours it was open. I wonder how much longer they can keep the connections open to Jackson Gore. South Face hasn't been open for the last two days, but that might be due to scaling down during weekdays. They have the most trails open probably in the NE right now, but some are a lot better than others, and mornings in Spring will almost always have the best conditions. Without a big surprise snow storm, their targeted April 3rd closing is not going to get pushed out further.

Some trails had great coverage. Others not so good. First time at Okemo. Great mountain, just a horrible weather year. Best lifts I've ever been on. Friendly staff.

Unfortunately no woods this year but Stratton has done a great job with what they have been given this season. I go out at least twice a week and they have consistently done well with the lack of natural snow this season

Wondered if it would be worth the drive from CT to ride for just one day...+ it definitely was! There was lots of coverage + the parks are still filled with fun stuff. Season's not over yet!

Snowed 1-2 inches last night on top of firm groomers, and it was pretty damn good. That along with the recently blown Snow on several trails made for generally good coverage and it turned into packed powder conditions on most of the main mountain. They did some weekend work in the North Face and to my surprise there were 5 rideable trails with only a little ice. With tonight's grooming the main face will again be pretty nice. Almost felt like Winter conditions again and the coverage and grooming was better than my last visit about a week ago. Great choice in making some fresh snow. They could extend the life of several trails if they just added some more snow at the top sections...or maybe, just maybe Mother Nature will do it for a change.

This weekend about 30 of the 60 open trails still had good coverage. The other 30 some bare spots and rocks but certainly not horrible.
