I'm not really understanding why the entire mountain is covered in this weird ice. It's been above freezing for the last 48 hrs and pouring, I thought at least we would have soft conditions. Wrong! Not even really sure how it's scientifically possible but whatever. Gondola and shooting star are closed due to high wind, visibility sucks, worst that I've skied at Stratton in a long time. Got out early access this morning expecting soft corn, boy was I wrong. I love Stratton but conditions were truly dreadful. Go shopping in Manchester or workout at the gym, don't waste your time.
