Most of the mountain was icy until 10:30(daylight savings time affected that), from about 11 to 1:30 it melted over the ice to give it a soft fluffy ride that I considered good enough to hit 50+ mph on my bombing runs. After 1:30 it was so so depending on the runs. Slushy then.
Went yesterday 3/14 lots of slush and some water in flatter areas other then That it's like a fun soft mashed potato surface to ski on stay on steeper or shadier runs had an absolute blast get up before its all gone!
Soft pushable snow on top, "fresh corn/untracked 3" soft glop" (which is fun) in mid altitudes, spring slush at bottom. Almost no obstacles, warm, no wind, fun snow. Doesn't get much better than this (other than deep pow I guess.). Fun times!!
Went up Thursday, they just got a 0.5" of snow...better than nothing! Great powder on higher runs. The lower runs gets slushy as the day goes on. It's hot! But still great! Backside was great after 12!! Some fresh tracks were made.
I completely agree with you. they should honor those tickets. however, I was only talking about snow conditions. there isn't much snow, it's 85 degrees in so cal and you choose to go boarding. most likely, your board is going to get trashed. don't complain about mountain high for that.
