If you end up visiting Jasna, and actually staying on the mountain, than yes, expect very limited nightlife and entertainment. You are better off staying down in the valley with one of the few companies offering full and excellent service, which, for Slovakia, is rare (customer service can often be terrible)

The resort is varying in terrain and great off piste that is very accessible if this is your thing. I dont understand what the previous review means about being bored of the beginner areas, the resort has a 3km blue run which is the perfect step up from beginner to intermediate, with varying terrain and offering a challenge.

High winds often close the main 4-man chairlifts which can be a royal pain in the arse if you are not a fan of poma lifts....... but they are putting in new chairlifts and upgrading all the facilities.

next season sees the board park move to the 6-man chairlift side for bigger kickers and more rails.... nice.
