A skiing vacation in the Tannheim Valley is recommendable especially for cross-country skiers. Because of a wide and well-prepared network of cross-country tracks the valley is best explored on ski. The tracks lead through villages and forests and cross the nature reserve Vilsalpsee. If temperatures are low enough you can also ski over the frozen lake Haldensee. Many cross-country tracks of low difficulty make the ski region Tannheim Valley interesting for families and beginners, too.
