    The Hannes Schneider Meister Cup Race returns to Cranmore on March 10. This fundraiser for the New England Ski Museum honors Hannes Schneider, known as the father of modern ski instruction who came to North Conway from Austria in 1939 and used the latest in teaching techniques to introduce the sport of skiing to a generation of Americans.   • 100K in a Day at Wildcat

    Can you ski 100,000 vertical feet in one day? You can find out if you take the Challenge at Wildcat Mountain on March 5th. The 4th Annual 100K Day will be held that day to raise money for the Make A Wish Foundation. Forty pre-registered participants will ski the Lynx trail (these skiers and riders will have the trail to themselves) to meet the Challenge. Full Article
