  The locals ski Mt. Rose - really?

  Pros: THE best view, pretty good variety, cheap tickets

  Cons: Shorter runs, little room in lodge, boring run to the front unless you're good

  Been to Homewood twice, once in 2007 and once this year, and enjoyed it both times. A very scenic drive if you're coming from lake south, and it's really a little hard... Full review

  Excellent views, excellent price

  Pros: Great views, super cheap, superb for those still learning
