Some groomed runs softened in the sun but other areas solid ice. No chance of going off groomers. Rock solid base.

The hill never softened today.  The only way down on the back side was the track around corona, then turn right 1/2 way down at the cat track to take the long way around to the bottom.  The main track could not be groomed so it was frozen solid.  The front side was pretty icy also, even Skid Road down Tye was icy.  40-50+mph, because you could not stop on the main slope. Fortunately, there was hardly anyone there.  The tombstones are sticking up all over on all of our favorite runs. Underneath Tye Mill chair upper half was mostly bare rocks and dirt.  I am surprised they are still operating. The center track of Barrier and the ridge were about the only areas somewhat skiable.  Because most of the people there were skiing it.  Even there, it was quite icy.  If you go, sharpen your edges.  It will help some. Until the sun is higher in the sky, too much of the area is still shaded and doesn't soften, even on the backside. Because there were so few people I skied until almost 3:00 p.m, but I didn't get there until 10:00 a.m. If there had been many more people I probably would have made a couple of runs and come home. Of the last couple of weeks today was beautiful, but somewhat treacherous.

Beautiful weather 01/26/15 but horrible conditions-lots of rocks, dirt and trees sticking out. Difficult to get on and off lifts with no new snow. However, no waits and gorgeous sunny day! 1/2 price skiing just watch out for the rocks and wear your helmet! Like skiing in a slushy :)

nice to be on the mountain, but it is a tough year. hopefully the second half its better. with climate change Snoqualmie really needs to find some terrain at higher elevations. time to start the permitting process. this is the new reality.

Rode Crystal Mtn yesterday (1/25) and the top half is still worth the drive up. All runs for Rainier express/forest queen are corny/slushy with icy patches in ye shades areas. Definitely ride the Gondy down if u can...way too many rocks!!

Cant believe Crystal is still reporting 40 inches of base. stay home everyone not worth it. Grass everywhere - good for cattle to graze but not skiing. Im going to Colorado.

4:00 Sunday. Crowds have thinned and the temp is dropping now that the sun is behind the mountain. Spring like ski conditions today with some exposed rocks. Not great but worth the drive. Going for a few more runs hoping the snow will be a little crispy...

We should demand for a refund on this year's session pass, at least partial, not to get a pathetic discount for next year's pass as promised by the summit... well, they can keep it open shamelessly, then they can claim it's been open for the whole session, and it's not their fault that you didn't come up there.

Wet snow. A few rivers and lakes in the middle of runs and spotty cover. Leave any new gear home. Worth getting outbid the house, but don't expect to ride free or fast.

Spring skiing but clear and warm. Perfect for new skiers. Don't bring your best skis.

If you have a pass already, today would have been about the equivalent of the last spring day before the pass closed. Warm, sunny and bad exposure everywhere.
