Arrived back form Valmorel a week ago (23/3/08). Had a great time at a very friendly hotel, Hotel du Bourg, simple but clean and a great little bar with a pool table, some of the other bars a bit bland and quiet. Try the Mexican restaurant, again friendly and attentive. Good skiing and snow, not a lot of cruising but good downhill to keep most abilities happy for a week. For those better skiers try just above the snow park, you can look over the ridge down on the 3 valleys. This is where the black/red runs are. With good weather you can ski over to Longchamp and back, but dont get stuck there, the cab fare back is appx 250 euros.
Would be happy go there again, but there are so many ski areas to visit yet.
