This place is amazing - it's a sure shot because of it's altitude...driving up to the village, you may or may not see snow at les menuires, st. martin de belleville, etc. Once you get to Val Thorens, however, you're in for a treat. Wide open bowls, awesome terrain, and tons of snow. When it rains down below, it'll be snowing at val thorens...I think you can even ski there year round...I want to go back!
