Full review

We went last year as a family in part of a larger group. Apres was ready made! I was amazed to read that there was no apres according to one reviewer. It is a family town with loads beyond the skiing. We were there for Carnival week February half term where everyone in the town dresses up as if it were Halloween. If you have room in the cases it is worth taking a costume for the Kids really to be able to join in. Everyone germanic seems to take the fun of Carnival quite seriously. The best Apres in Zel is in the Hotel bars rather than on the slopes. We stayed at The Tirolerhoff which has the best Spa facilities I have seen in Europe. So good we are going back! The Bar at the top is a roar. The oldest DJ in the world but he is quite a laugh. Old classic pop music mixed with modern tunes and enough to get me motivated enough to go down a red run home!
