Tried out the resort last weekend. There was little snow at St Johann - our usual Sunday ski venue - and this seemed (and was) a better prospect. The snow on the upper slopes was good in the morning, but deteriated sharply in the afternoon with the warm temperatures. The good news was there were no queues whatsoever. This was a real find - I will definately visit again. An excellent network of lifts - some of which seem very new - and some excellent runs for intermediates on the upper slopes. All in all highly recommended. Given the lack of snow elsewhere in Austria this year it seems like a reliable bet if you are booking a week's holiday in Austria next year.
