We are still in the middle of winter but it is more like spring skiing here. The sun was shinning all day relatively no wind - the top of the gondola was quite breezy - temperature was quite warm. Snow conditions is fair, hard pack through out most, icy in a lot of places and slushy in areas where the sun been hitting all day. Overall it's OK condition considering there hasn't been that much storms out here in the west coast.
Skied today and yesterday. Small crowds and good conditions in the morning (especially yesterday). Some of the trails were snowed off after lunch, snow was heavy this afternoon from the warm temps- conditions are more like spring skiing. Overall, two great days at DV.
Not bad, but definitely not the typical DV packed powder for this time of year. Had some really good runs going up to the top from silver lake lodge, but ran into large sheets of ice at times. I think canyons has better snow right now until the next dump.
Hard pack powder, some ice in spots but generally very ski-able. Had some friends along who were just at mammoth and said it was much better at canyons by far. Not the typical utah powder, but worth the price of a lift ticket for sure.
