The ski slopes lead up to an altitude of 3600 metres. The region's alpine ski resorts Saas-Almagell, Saas-Fee and Saas-Grund offer many kilometres of slopes at any difficulty level. The longest ski run of the area – from the Mittelallalin down to Saas-Fee – covers a distance of 14 kilometres while dropping in altitude 1778 metres.
