I first skied Tremblant 35 years ago and it was charming and unpretentious. Thanks to over development it's just too big and crowded for the type of terrain it has to offer. It's as if Intrawest was trying to recreate Whistler-Blackcomb but without the mountains. The trails are variable and while a few are fun to cruise at the top many of them "level off" half way down for a blue run skate to the lift lines. Best to ski the upper part of the mountain and during Spring weekends don't bother looking for parking on the village side best to drive around to the back side where you can park within couple hundred meters of the chair lift. Because it's Quebec it can be uncomfortably cold.
