Awesome weather, lots of runs.
Extremely crowded and overpriced
Its common knowledge that the ski life is an expensive one, so I was aware of the hefty prices on all purchases at Tremblant. However, when the bars started charging up to $10 a shot, I almost fainted - usually thats the price you pay at an upper end bar in Toronto, not a ski chalet where you've already spent your money skiing. I was also aware of the crowds that gather at ski hills, up to half hour waits to get onto the lift, but when I saw the line continue on and on and found it was more like an hour wait, I wanted to get my money returned. Beware of busy occasions, the skiing becomes icy and too crowded, and eventually not worth the price. Yet the usually unbarable weather turned around for my trip. I loved the fact that I could wear an open jacket at the top of the mountain without fear of freezing to death. Also not to be expected. Decent skiing, but there is much better in Quebec.
