Christmas Skiing, lots of new snow., Le Soleil was not open, but should be open soon., The Edge just opened today., lots of fresh snow in the Glades, that chair at the Edge is pretty slow.. I skied Duncan, Lowell Thomas, McCullough, Devils River etc., real nice snow., no ice & the crowds were not too bad., The chairs on the Lowell Thomas lift need to be adjusted., uncomfortable, they tend to turn you into a pretzel., I will be back on the slopes on Boxing Day, staying at the old Mont Tremblant Hotel in the Village, prices are still reasonable, & include a full breakfast, the restaurant is good & the bar is fun., Family Run., been operating since 1910 !!
Heading over to the Casino tonite., the Casino can be accessed by a gondola from the base of the south side or drive over, valet parking, it is located at the bottom of the Le Soleil runs, fun having a Casino at a ski resort... adds sort of a different dimension to the apres night life.
