Skied Tremblant over the Easter weekend. Lots of snow, cold temperatures, windy, and very little ice. The snow was great all three days, Saturday, Sunday and Monday. We left Tuesday morning and hit snow north of Toronto,on our way back to Detroit. It was worth the 12 hour drive for the great conditions we had all three days. All the lifts were open all three days. The lift lines were longest on Saturday, around 20 minutes at the Gondola. So we started using the singles line and the wait was less than 5 minutes on Saturday afternoon. You can meet some intersting people that way. Sunday and Monday the lift lines were negligable. Ski down, and set down on the chair or Gon. I never waited more than five chairs on Sunday or Monday.
The package pricing for lift and loding was less than $125 US per person per day and they take the US dollar at par. Where the prices are high is food. Hard to eat lunch for lees than $10 and dinner for $30. Maybe food and drinks are how they make their money. We are going to take precooked food next time, and use the microwave in the room for breakfast and dinner. Check with your hotel for how your room is set up.The shuttle bus runs everywhere, so staying across the valley is not a terrible inconvienence, and you will have your own kitchen in any of the condos.
