A good alternative to Jay Peak

    Pros: short lift lines, excellent grooming, nice views, decent food, retro feel lodge

    Cons: some lifts need padding as they were uncomfortable to ride

    Recommended For: Single/Newlyweds, Family Friendly, Empty Nesters

I didnt have a passport to get into the US to visit Jay (about 20 minutes from here) so I decided to visit Owl's Head as I heard it had as much snow as Jay. It snowed the whole day I was there when it wasnt snowing anywhere on the way there. They have excellent grooming and great snow conditions. Try out some of the glade runs..
