There is something about Sutton. I have been many times over new years eve and they make a good time out of it. Lots of choice in lodging, lift prices are good, within an hour to Jay Peak if you want to do a day trip to the U.S. I have always had lots of snow there. You can always find the terrain suited for you with very low lift lines. It is an interesting place and a great stop off to allow you to go to many others that are close by.
