I've been there for one week many times, last time was in Feb 2010. Le Massif is definitely the best ski site you'll find East of the Canadian Rockies. It's steep, trails are long, express lifts go from the base to the top, they get usually lots of snow (which is not the case for the last 2 years), they are well equipped to make fake snow. You'll find some of the best carving rides in Canada at le Massif. All this with a impressive view on the St-Lawrence river. But, for french fries lovers, you are at the wrong address. They do not serve junk food at le Massif... There's a problem with this resort. Too crowded for its capacity and not only during week ends. There's sometimes (from Wednesday to Friday) so many buses arriving at the same time... But, their staff is great, they care and they are working, I assume, on this problem. Tip: try to avoid the "sealed zipper festival" (telemark week end) which attracks a way too many people...
