A great little ski station in the Neiges Catalanes ski area. St pierre is linked with the village of Eyne to make up the Espace Cambre D'Aze. The area gives great skiing for all standards with some of the steepest black pistes in the area and one of the longest patrolled off pistes. Intermediates will love the cruisy blues and challenging reds. Beginners will have a ball on the green descending from the top of the chairlift.
The snowboarding is good but riders need to be confident on drag lifts to get the best out of the area.
Although there is only one bar/cafe in St Pierre there are 3 good eateries in Eyne at the foot of the pistes, and a great little cafe at the top of the chair!
For a place to stay in St Pierre check out the Mouli del Riu, 300m from the chairlift.
All in all great for a weekend or a week combined with the rest of the Neiges Catalanes area.
