Especially popular among the younger, the Polsa-San Valentino ski area is located on the Brentonico plateau on the Northern slope of Monte Baldo, between Lake Garda and Valle dell'Adige.
Featuring 9 lift systems (chair-lifts, ski-lifts and 4 moving walkways/rope tows), the Polsa-San Valentino ski centre give access to a total of over 40 km runs, set up for junior competitions and provided with artificial snow systems. Fenced runs are also available for competitions and training.
Snowboard riders will enjoy the Double Park of Polsa, one of Trentino's largest snowparks with halfpipe/jump for beginners and experts alike.
Families with kids are also provided with two well-equipped and entertaining baby parks on the snow. San Valentino also features a tubbing run and an ice skating rink. School camps equipped with moving walkways are set up to help ski-beginners learn skiing.
5 km runs are available at the San Giacomo Cross-country Ski centre for practising classical or free techniques. The ski school of Brentonico boasts professional instructors that teach beginners, snowboarders, and the disabled, as well as federal coaches, who deal with young athletes' competition training.
The skibus service connects Brentonico ski areas, which are also served by mountain-huts and winter equipment rentals. A shuttle bus takes skiers to ski while viewing the lake - by showing the very same skipass - at Prà Alpesina Monte Baldo, with its unforgettable view out over Lake Garda.
