Cons: slow lifts, crowded, icy, close to new york

Shawnee may be a place you want to go if you are a beginner but even if you are you might not want to go. It is close but not by much. Drive an extra 10 min and you get to camelback a much better resort. When I said it had a good beginner terrian park I ment that there advanced terrian park is for beginners. There lifts are old and sooo slow you can walk faster than them. On top of that it is very crowed which means it is icy. I would rather drive an extra 10 min and go to camelback.
