Full review

This was my 15th ski holiday and Setriere was by far the the dullest resort in terms of skiing and apres ski. The resort is an architectural dogs dinner and the infrastucture was outdated. Slow chairlifts followed by all too easy runs made for a repetitive and tedious routine. The runs were hopelesly signposted but it didn`t really make any difference as there is such little variation between each run. The restaurants served up bog standard fare which was just about adequate. This was my first ski trip to Italy and I`ll be heading straight back to Chamonix or Courchevel next season. The only thing Sestriere has going for it is the fact that it`s a short transfer from the airport but apart from that it is totally inferior to any other resort I have visited inluding Morzine,Kitzbuel, val disere and chamonix.
