I found Prato Nevoso to be a great laid back resort off the beaten track for the main names in the Alps, and more relaxed for it. The pistes are wide, fast, easy and sunny and there seem to be a lot of fast new lifts to get up the slopes. we had a nice sopacious hotel (Galassia) which had great facilities (swimming pool) and was well positioned next to the slopes so pretty well doorstep skiing. There wasn't a huge amount to go out for in the evening but we were happy to stay in the hotel bar. So in summary - great for a relaxed and relaxing holiday, less good for extreme skiers and apres ski hedonists.
