Okay If you are going Ride or Ski at whitetail, use an old board/skiis or have plenty of PteX ready to go... Horrible snow conditions snow conditions I went the day before closing and I never hit so many rock in my life out of the nine years I have been snowboarding.. Rocks everywhere in the snow, I had tons of gouges in my board.. Even in middle of winter you can still spot a few rocks in the snow, I think it has to do with something with their groomers digging up rocks. Worst snow conditions, If they were smart they shoud of built the resort on the other side of the MTN facing north so its not exposed to a large about of sun light. All that Sun Light causes the conditions to change threw out the day rather quickly. I was at liberty the day before my trip to whitetail and the day after(season pass holder) and no rocks in their snow at all... The Lift guys on the Expert quad are straight up rude... i do like their snowboard park and the new lift they put in at jib junction...
