We pretty much have given up on weekend skiing since Bear and Blue are sardine packed with people and Blue feels like a warzone with my little kids on the slope.

An easy 2 hr drive and we were at SNO and had a great day. Yes, the lifts are a little slow but if that keeps away the mobs then it's a good trade. We went on Sunday so by mid day it was busy but it was not crazy. We found a table for 8 in the eatery and had a fun lunch.

My husband & I liked the black diamonds and there was a double black mogul run that he really enjoyed.

My son (7 yrs) fell off the lift though no fault of the resort or the equipment. The ski patrol was there in a heartbeat and checked him out thorughly. They were very professional and very friendly.

We'll be back.
