Blue knob has better terrain (more vert, more challenging) but 2 hr away and ancient lifts that often close due to wind without much advance notice, which sucks after a 2 hr drive. Holiday valley and snowshoe are best in all aspects but 4 hr away so ok for a long weekend only.
Hi Vermonter. Nothing close to vermont around here. For the best, though, it kind of depends on what you like and where you live. If in Pittsburgh and you like parks, 7 springs is the best because it's 1 hr away and is number 1 for parks in the east.
Great job Sid we are happy for you. The rest of us will ski BK a real WPA mtn with great glades and steeper terrain. Oh and the passes are 369.00. People will complain about the ice but no worse than the ice the Springs makes. check out Holiday Valley too. No more Nitting
BK passes are 369 which is great and they offer incredible terrain for WPA. Until 7S invests in more terrain, creating real glades and updating snow making I can't see paying their prices. Not a word of them this year as best ski resorts like years past when Herman owned the resort.
