Full review

The report claimed 5" of fresh new snow in the morning, probably a lie. There was probably a total of 5" of fresh over the whole day. The wind was blowing pretty darn good so it was difficult to tell. VERY CROWDED! The last day of winterfest crowds kept us away from the front side of the mountain for the whole day. Snow was very nice though. Use your head with the wind direction to find deep areas. The best run of the day was Blitzen and Alpine Meadows glades, but there was some super deep, wind carried snow off skier's left on the Sunbowl. The key to a day like yesterday is avoiding certian lifts. Almost all of the terrain can be accessed by more than one lift. For example, use the Blitzen, Giant Boudler, and North Face lifts while avoiding-like-the-plague the 6-pack, Tahoe, and Gunnar Lifts.
