This was my second visit to Seven Springs.
Pros: I really like the slopes of the North Face. They are reasonably long, have variety, and generally at least 1 of the lifts servicing this side of the resort are not long. Corkscrew (on the Front Side) is a fun trail but it was hard to really get any momentum because of all the rocks & brown spots. The shape of the HP rental equipment was very good. If you like terrain parks, this is a really good place as there is lots of variety.
Cons: I've skied a number of places in the mid-Atlantic and this was (by far) the iciest day that I can remember. Ice on the bunnies, ice on the blues, ice on the experts, ice in the trees, ice everywhere. People were wiping out all over the place. The North Face was brown in several spots and there were some places were field grass was poking up through the snow, along with rocks, twigs, etc. The weekend crowds are heavy as well.
