We ventured to PA from southern VA to hit Seven Springs for a weekend. As the date approached, the weather report switched from light snow to Heavy snow. The Seven Springs area got dumped on, over 2 feet of snow. The roads leading to Seven Springs after a heavy snow we very dicey and I wouldn't recommend attempting to get there without a 4-wheel drive vehicle. If we had arrived at opening, i may have had a better time, but we arrived at approx Noon and the Intermediate and Advanced slopes were pretty much ALL MOGULS at that point. it was still fun, and we got plenty of good runs in.
It was my first time to Seven Springs and there really is plenty of good stuff for everyone. The runs are plenty long and the lifts were pretty quick, especially the 6 person lifts that really hauled butt up the mountain.
I'm not sure why Seven Springs is getting bad reviews on this sight, i had a great time!
