Pros: Good trails. Close prox to Baltimore.
Cons: Icy on beginners trails. Half-pipe still not open.

9 year old son and I visited on New Year's Day. It was cold and icy getting there as it had rained the night before and froze overnight. I had hoped that the trails would have been groomed in the morning but it was clear that the beginners trails were groomed the night before and they were extremely icy. I figured the whole place was like that until we rode the lift with a woman that said that the more advanced trails were much less icy. Indeed, they were. We spent the rest of the day on the blues and blacks. Perhaps they had been groomed after the rain and ice . . . Not sure but they were in fine shape. The lift lines never got long (except once on the terrain park) so we got a lot of runs in.
Fun blue runs. Fair amount of variety on the trails. Too bad the greens were icy.
