After opening for four days in mid-December, Macungie's Bear Creek reopens today at 4 p.m. with five trails of beginner and intermediate terrain. In the past, the MLK holiday has proved a popular time for the resort and Bear Creek hopes to keep the snow through the weekend. Full Article

Blue Knob All Seasons Resort will reopen for skiing and boarding Friday after a difficult past couple of weeks. The area has been struggling to keep an early cover in the face of rising temperatures, but reports favorable weather into the weekend will make it possible for them to resume operatiors.
