Very family friendly. Beginner runs are excellent. Plenty of staff for lessons. Daycare services are priced reasonably and the kids stay happy. As far as the rest of the mountain is concerned...... Lifts are slow. Snow blowing equipment is right under them. Slow lifts + snow blowing and wind = drenched and miserable. It's even worse if the lift stops for some reason. Next, the run dippsy doodle has a portion of the run that is virtually horizontal and on warmer days, the best skiers will find themselves pushing with poles. Liberty needs to grade the mountain during the summer to eliminate this. Next item..... price. Compare Liberty's lift ticket price to any resort in the west. Liberty is on the high end. Staff at the ticket window stated that the price is high due to the snow making facilities. If you are going to ski at Liberty, go during mid week. The combination of limited skiing terrain and nearby big cities make weekends overwhelming in lift lines and the small food court facilities. Overall, pricey and icey.
