Great Snow Conditions, Good Variety of trails, no lift lines, scenic
Lack of vertical drop

Full review

Jack Frost is probably my favorite ski destination in the Poconos. Despite the fact that they only have a vertical drop around 600 feet, the trails are very fun (even though they are a little shorter in length). The snow conditions are always great no matter how crappy the weather, and East Mountain has some great views along with a couple of steep hills. There are never lift lines, which makes it not so bad that the trails are a little short. I always enjoy Jack Frost, and have gone skiing here more times than anywhere else. The drive from SE Pa is so easy too since it is almost entirely highway.
